Wiring the whole house
Multiphase Electric provides complete residential electrical services, including new construction, remodels, additions, ADUs, and whole-home electrical upgrades.
For new construction, we handle the electrical scope from temporary power through rough-in, trim-out, and final inspection. We work directly with homeowners, builders, and general contractors to coordinate the electrical installation with the plans, construction schedule, and requirements of the home.
Our residential services include electrical panels and services, lighting and controls, EV charging, generators, dedicated circuits, home rewiring, and other electrical upgrades. Each project is carefully reviewed and planned to provide a safe, reliable electrical system designed for both current and future needs.

Why builders rebook
-
One crew, pedestal to punch list
The same company sets your temp power, ropes the house, and hangs the last fixture. Nothing falls between two subcontractors, and there is one number to call about any of it.
-
We hold the schedule
Rough-in that slips holds up insulation, drywall, and everyone after them. Builders keep calling us because our slot is the one that does not move.
-
Wired for the house you'll actually live in
Where the island seating goes, which wall the TV lands on, whether a charger is coming. We ask before the walls close, because after they close it costs ten times as much.
Three visits, three inspections, one crew throughout.
-
Plans reviewed, fixed quote
We price from the drawings and a walk-through, not a per-outlet count — where the circuits have to land, what the kitchen and baths need, and what the panel has to carry once the house is finished.
-
Temp power and rough-in
Temporary power goes in so the site can work, then rough-in lands on the framing schedule. We hold our slot: the inspector and the insulators both turn up expecting us to be done.
-
Trim-out, inspection, walkthrough
Devices, fixtures, and the panel get finished and labeled, we schedule the final inspection, and we walk the house with you so you know what sits on which breaker.

what owners ask
What owners and builders ask before the first visit. If yours isn't here, ask — we'd rather answer it than have you guess.
Do you work directly with homeowners, or only through a builder?
Both. On a new build we are usually one of the builder's subs and we work to their schedule. On a remodel or addition plenty of owners hire us directly and we coordinate with whoever else is on site. Either way the contract, the permit, and the inspection are ours to handle.
Does my remodel need a panel upgrade?
Sometimes. A kitchen gutted back to studs, a new bath, or an addition all add circuits, and an older 100A panel often has neither the capacity nor the spaces. The load calculation is part of the estimate, so you hear the answer before the work starts rather than halfway through it — and if it is yes, our panel and service upgrades page covers what that involves.
Do you wire ADUs and garage conversions?
Yes, and they come up constantly in Portland. An ADU usually needs its own subpanel and often a service upgrade at the main house, plus its own permit. We handle the design, the utility coordination where a separate meter is wanted, and the inspection.
When do you need to be on site during a build?
Three visits, roughly: temporary power before the slab or framing, rough-in once the house is framed and dried in, and trim-out after paint. Each has an inspection attached, and we schedule them so nobody behind us is waiting.
Do you patch the walls you open in an existing home?
We keep access holes as small as the work allows and we leave the site clean, but repair of finished surfaces is not included unless the proposal says so. On a remodel where the walls are already open this never comes up; on a rewire of a finished house we will tell you upfront where we have to get in.
Do you pull the permits?
Yes, and we schedule the inspections. Residential electrical work in Oregon is permitted, and unpermitted work is a problem at resale and with your insurer. You get the paperwork at the end.
